Man Dies After Car Accident in Arlington, Texas
A man whose car left the road and struck a tree last Thursday has died from injuries he received in the accident in Arlington, Texas. He died Friday at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
20-year-old William Alexander Wilson was thrown from his vehicle when his Ford GT left the road and hit a tree in the 1700 block of W. Lamar Boulevard near Fielder Road. Although the accident is still under investigation, police said speed was a likely factor in the accident.
This is such a tragic accident for the family and friends of Mr. Wilson. If he was driving at excessive speeds, as police seem to believe, he could easily have lost control of his car, and striking a tree at high speeds would lead to devastating injuries.
