Fort Worth Crane Accident Kills Joshua, Texas Man
An on-the-job accident today killed 56 year old crane operator at Delta Steel in South Fort Worth. The man, Johnny Little, was operating an overhead crane to move a 5 ton piece of metal when the metal fell and struck him on the head. Mr. Little was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr. Little was from Joshua and had worked at Delta Steel since 1997. A total of 527 workplace deaths were reported in Texas in 2007, the last year those statistics are available.
